"What does it mean to reclaim the feminine? It means to honor our sacred connection to life that is present in every moment." -Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, Golden Sufi Center

Values in the service of life and connection, such as empathy, love, compassion, cooperation, and peacemaking have been the qualities characteristically associated with the feminine model for millennia. The inclusion of long-missing feminine values is a vital component to enable a greater holistic balance in society. The feminine paradigm is neither male nor female. Rather, it is the potential quality in men and women that fosters integration and interconnection.

Our Programs

Integrating feminine wisdom – the principles of interconnection, inclusion, compassion, co-creation and unity – has been a core part of GPIW’s mission from its very beginnings. We first began this by bringing more international women leaders forward to lead grassroots initiatives for peace, healing and transformation in the world community, with particular focus on places of conflict and post-conflict.

Through convening and dialogue, we utilize the feminine model to inspire societal equity that honors and tends the sacredness of all life. We have learned from exchanges between the spiritual and faith traditions that cultivating a deep relationship with the inner voice can awaken the feminine quality and cause the melting of the hardest edges, and radically change the way we relate to ourselves and the way we act in our world. GPIW has witnessed this inner resonance as the source of resilience for women living in war torn regions, or among young people leading innovate social enterprises in communities where sustainable development may appear elusive.

An awareness and embodiment of the feminine model in our programs is what distinguishes GPIW. We create a safe, shared space in which human diversity, holistic principles and transcendental ideals are valued.

All that we do at GPIW is carried by the spirit of the Divine Feminine, whether it be our projects specifically related to women -- articulating the role of the feminine in consciousness evolution today, promoting women’s spiritual leadership, empowering women in need -- or any of our other many programs seeking to co-create a world of compassion, caring and unity.
