The Global Peace Initiative of Women deeply mourns the passing of one of its Co-Chairs, Dr. Kamla Chowdhry. Her passing is a loss not just for those who knew her personally but for the world. As a prominent Gandhian she was deeply committed to bringing spirituality to the work of development and to enhancing awareness of the need for environmental preservation and restoration.
