An Enlightening Hour with Swamini Svatmavidyananda

Friday, October 1, 2021

Since GPIW met Swami Svatmavidyananda nearly 20 years ago, we have followed her journey with tremendous respect and appreciation. She has always embedded herself in the heart of life while working for the upliftment of all around her. She has delved deeply into the studies of the Vedas with her teacher, the late Swami Dayananda Saraswati. She balanced the mundane demands of living a life in the world with her pursuit of the most rigorous training as laid out in the Vedic path she chose. For her monastic ordination she sat in the rushing waters of the holy Ganga River for four days, and further completed many other required rituals to demonstrate her commitment to her path. Her spiritual practice has never waned in the face of personal and global challenges and GPIW is ever grateful for all the wisdom she has lent to our conversations over many years.
