As a human community we find ourselves at a pivotal moment – a moment where opportunity to shift gears is not only possible but imperative. GPIW invited Dr. Daniel Christian Wahl to speak to our young climate leaders and answer questions on how we might shift into new ways of living to bring about a better future for the human community and for all living beings that inhabit the fragile ecosystems of planet Earth. His years of study and research, experience at the Findhorn community, in the eco-village movement and in helping with ‘Transition Town’ initiatives, has given Daniel great insight into how we might create regenerative cultures. Regenerative cultures are more than ‘sustainable', they are bio-regional and include the history and local stories of a people and reflect the capacity of the people who live there to leave a place more abundant and healthier than their forebears. It involves healing the landscape and restoring ecosystems. Daniel’s work focuses on creating new pathways to regenerative living which celebrate human creativity and the diverse approaches to living harmoniously with nature. How can such design principles influence many climate initiatives taking place across the globe?
GPIW is honored to host a special program on March 2nd, 2021 with Daniel Christian Wahl -- author, visionary, and expert on whole systems design theory for human and planetary health.
Join us for this interactive conversation with Daniel to look at ways to make meaningful and lasting change for our planet and how human society can live more consciously and in harmony with Nature.
Riddhi Shah, Climate activist and educator from India will moderate the discussion with Daniel.
